Bess
Vizsla, Female, 2015
In December of 2015 we welcomed Bess home just in time for Christmas. Everyone who meets Bess enjoys her temperament and infectious smile. She loves people, and loves to greet everyone she meets. One of the great things about Bess is her on/off switch. Don’t get us wrong, she still has all the energy of the typical Vizsla, wearing us out long before she tires, but she calms down and is quite content to rest and snuggle in our lap or at out feet. Like all Vizsla’s, she loves her “people”, and fits the Velcro dog label. Bess comes from a rich heritage. Many in her pedigree have been used for hunting upland game and duck. If hunting isn’t your thing, never fear, they are great running partners and wonderful family dogs. They are more sensitive than some of the working breeds, and tend to take a different approach with training. With a gentle, but firm hand, and plenty of exercise, they can find happiness in many different environments, hence the name Versatile Vizsla. We love having our pal with us on our adventures
